You're Not Your Mistakes - December 9, 2018

Do you ever get frustrated because you realize that you keep making the same mistakes over and over, despite trying really hard to change? I know this happens to me all the time! I am always trying to be better, kinder, and more responsible, but progress often seems slow or non-existent. However, when all is said and done, we are not defined by our failures. Rather, our identity comes from the way we respond to our struggles. I almost cried when I found an upbeat song this morning with a beautiful message related to this topic, and so I wanted to share it! This song greatly enhanced the mood and meaning of Christmas for me as I remembered that because of Christ we don't have to stay the same.
