Ask the Right Questions - 30 March 2022

I learned a principle at Institute tonight that can help us to receive more answers from God! We often know the issues we should be asking God about, but we don't always know the questions to ask.

Example #1: I know I need revelation about plans after graduation. My first thought is to ask "What should I do after graduation?", but I don't feel anything strongly. Perhaps the question I should be asking is "What should I be doing in my life to make a better decision about what I should do after graduation?"

Example #2: A difficult, ongoing trial comes in my life. My first thought is to ask "How can I get rid of this trial?". But nothing comes to mind. Perhaps the question I should be asking is "What should I do to endure this trial well?" or "What should I learn from this experience?"
